Parking Brake Light
I've got a 98 EB w/ 5.4L, Air Ride and 72,000 and I love it. I had the parking brake adjusted this past summer, but now the indicator light doesn't come on when I set the brake. Help please!

blwilli - just checked, the brake light does come on when 1st started and then goes off; even thought the parking brake is set. It used to stay on, that's why I thought it may be out of adjustment. I did have the parking brake adjusted awhile ago (still working) and the light came on after the brke adjustment.

ok, good...then you know that the bulb isn't burned out...step one done...I don't know how to adjust it, but suppposedly there IS an adjustment...my problem was somewhat opposit of yours. my parking brake no longer works (one of the things I didn't repair when I did a frame off salvage of this Expy) because, well, I never use them, and they all seem to eventually bind up. Anyway, my pedal would always fall to the floor...leaving the light on all the time. Should have tried the adjustment...but I just cable tied it up instead. (gotta love that ol' Southern Engineering!).
