Here in Colorado it was 1.99 last week, 2.09 earlier in the week, 2.13 last night when I filled up, and 2.19 this morning. We are driving the Impala as much as possible.
I just ran a report of my fuel costs at home. I'm now recovering from shock. In July, I spent 160 bucks on my personal diesel to travel to work and back, no vacation or extra travel fuel included. In September, it was 240 for the same mileage and I know it's gonna go up. Diesel here south of Ft. Worth is 2.139 and rising every three days on average. At this rate, I can buy a little junker to take to work and use the difference in fuel to pay for the car. Worst part is that the gas is 1.829, not cheap but in comparison, much less. But, I just can't give up the power and great ride of my truck, guess I'll just have to get a part time job on the way home to pay for fuel.
Ouch. I'm actually afraid to fill my truck now. Insted I'll just put in $20 here, $30 there. Filling it drains my paycheck way too much now. I remember before (several months ago) it would cost me about $66 at the most to fill the truck. Now its almost $85. Thats nuts man
I had to feed the beast today at lunch. After driving past my usual stations @ $2.45 per gallon. I found a fairly reputable station about 10 miles away at $2.339.
so much fun.
Eastern Washington. (the state) Wonder what it is in northern Idaho?
Everybody seems to be doing ok, except the west coast, and the north east.
Doesn't make sense.
