Signin in boys. Pep, have you got your pirate ship ready for the flood.
It looks like I may be going to hunt near: Sweetwater, Midland or San Angelo area. They said they have gone to these areas before and would return to one of them this time around. I haven't looked yet to see how far of a drive we have ahead of us.
I looked on yahoo maps driving directions and it looks like all three of those places are close together. Close meaning we are already driving that far what's another 50 miles or so. So I guess you're down around Houston/Austin/San Antonio area. Is there any night life stuff near where I am headed? I figured if anyone you would know, of course the guys I'm going with aren't exactly saints.
Never been there. Havent a clue.
I do highly suggest not crossing the border into Juarez.
There is a list on military bases with advisories, warnings, and restrictions when traveling into Mexico.
Jaurez is usually on the list.
We aren't planning on going into Mexico and we're still a good distance from teh border aren't we? When he said SW Mexico I asked if we were in border jumpin' territory.
Its like a 5 hour trip. Never been there....but a buddy of mine was stationed near there. While he was there they had a rash of military guys gettin beatin badly, and the girls gettin raped. They were in groups. A couple guys just over drinkin offers lots of oppurtunity for trouble. Not to mention the fact, if your drunk, you're likely to be denied re-entry to the US until your sober. Thats a scary thought.

The way trouble seems to find me sometimes I'll be sure and stay away. I've always said I have no reason to leave the US, I guess I won't go and make myself into a hypocrite. You ever been there Pep?
To Jaurez.....nope. No desire. I want to go to Neuvo Lerado....across from Lerado, Tx. A few hours from here. Never really had the oppertunity.....or looked for a one either. Kinda like the song says...there are things there the devil wouldnt do. More the reason to go. I have a couple friends who volunteered to take me. Never took em up on it.
Actually, they told me not to go without them. They'd keep me out of trouble.
Next time you send something like that to me at work tell me a little about it before I open it. I guess I should have had it figured out by the title but I ain't always the brightest nut in the terd so next tiem tell me not to open it at work.
