Could this valve fail I hear it's opening late after starting the van and makes the engine idling rough until it open slowly???
Need help?

 

If it's opening late, it's more likely the valve tha controls it... Pull the codes, and it should show up... Mine is bad (stuck about 1/2 way open). It's a $36 to $46 part at the dealer. What year, model, and engine.. That will help a lot in giving you the location of the part.

 

Have a 1989 e150 302 I get code 33 but I changed the egr and solenoid I know the problem doesn't come from there
