1995 - Passing Gear

Why is the Passing Gear not working?
The cable is connected and the Transmission oil is full and clean.
To feel the POWER, I have to manually shift up/down but sometimes, when I have a hamburger in my left hand and holding my girl with the other, I don't have time to shift manually....
Is there an adjustment I need to do?

Yes there is...Although, adjustments are usually for replacement parts and not for worn parts or something gone wrong. Be wary of making adjustment like this. Could be you need you cable replaced. They can stretch over time. Anyway...here is a link to instructions on making adjustments.
