Tranny no work
I have a 1995 F150 300, 5 spd. If the truck is off I can run through all my gears, but when I turn the truck on it is stuck in whatever gear I had it in when I start. It won't shift bewteen even after 20 min warm up, whats wrong? Anybody got any ideas? Any suggestions as to a different tranny, I want a manual.

Does your clutch work OK? A dragging clutch would make it hard to shift gears. Also make sure that your shifter is properly attached to the transmission and is really shifting those gears.
If the clutch is working normally, and your shifter is OK, it is possible that your transmission has little or no oil in it. That would cause hard shifting at first and then no shifting later.

Figured it out on my own, thanks for the ideas. My hydraulics are shot to all h*** Clutch was ok to start with, probably will replaceit anyways, shifter was attatched fine, just repainted the stick so I checked it all when reinstalling, linkages were great. Just gotta rebuild the hydraulics now.

Adjust your clutch more, and maybe a new throw out bearing or possibly a input shaft bearing. Otherwise the tranny which you have, a M5OD, is not made for heavy duty use, check for seal leakage at the 2nd and 3rd shift rails.
