first time hard start 460
I went to start my truck a few nights ago and all it did was crank and crank and tried so hard to start and being that it is efi I did not give it gas but i did give it gas when it wanted to start and i could keep it alive so long as my foot was on the gas keeping it alive. when it started a bunch of black and grey smoke was exhaust for like 5 mins. i messed with a valve to the left of the throttle body because it was making a loud tick noise and all was good. but same thing happeded this morning. specs are 89' f250sd 460 c6 and another thing spark plugs looked like they were cooked. any help please. thanks.
