Air compressor water separator
This is the automatic drain that activates every time I start up my compressor:
This is the compressor, note the flexible connector from a water separator to a cast iron line that has a 24" "drop" with a ball check valve in the bottom to bleed off water:
This is the pipe. Goes up to ceiling, across 25 feet with a 4 " drop in gradient to another down pipe:
Then it drops into 15 feet of colied 3/8" copper tubing, then down to another waterseperator, but it also goes beyond that to another 24" "drop" with another ball check valve in the bottom:
Air is dry as a bone. I rigged this up for my Plasma Cutter to assure dry air. I was ready to make a chiller, but it doesn't look like I'll be needing one!

bikeitswift, looks good, but your garage is real messy! i'm used to shop at school wich has to be kept real tight for safty, but otherwise that looks real cool!, ill have to take some pics of my setup, not like its even in a garage. its in a shed that i have setup to work on smaller stuff and to keep tools in.
