95 fuel filter
I'm trying to figure out how take the fuel filter off mt 95 f-150. I belive that after 240 thousand miles it is in need of a new filter. I have tried the plastic tools to try to release the filter but it did not work. Does anyone know the trick to release the filter. Their are stainless steel braded hoses going to and from the filter. also the motor is a 5.0.

Be sure and bleed off the fuel line pressure. Behind the passenger side kick panel is the inertia kill switch. It has a small red button on top. Use a small screwdriver to gently "pop" it up. Then start the engine and let it run till it dies. Next unhook the negative battery cable to prevent a spark.
When finished replacing the filter, push the red button down on the inertia kill switch.
