thanks.
I'm only a beginner with paint & stuff but here's my 2 cents worth. I've never heard of an epoxy that was uv resistant. I've had a lot of experience with fiberglass boat stuff & gel coating with a HVLP (high volume low pressure) sprayer.
Years ago I used DP90 & I think it was green. It had to be covered over to be uv resistant. As long as build value, the automotive paint store sold me some Kondar. That is a compatable high build primer that is grey I think. (was 12 years ago.)
I aslo think the Kondar states not to leave it exposed to weather because I think it could absorb moisture. You have to coat over that. What I did turned out excellent. I'm sure it took me hours longer than a pro but then again, I'm no pro. Hope this helps & the literature you get at the paint store with the DP 90 should tell you all you need to know. Take care, Rick
