The ones I plan to get are JBA Cat4ward headers with the silver ceramic coating inside and out. My truck has had a series of over heating problems all summer. I replaced the water pump because the seal was leaking and decided that because of the age of the truck I should just replace the pump too. I also replaced the thermostat, upper and lower hoses to the radiator. Still getting too hot. Kept over heating, but not leaking anywhere. replaced the radiator cap. then it was very obvious that the radiator had a leak with the right pressure. replaced the radiator. still getting hot after about 20 minutes of just sitting in the driveway. did a block test. no color change. then i decided that it wasn't an optical illusion, the fan was turning kinda slow. changed the fan clutch. smell coolant again. apparently all that heat blew the thermostat gasket and dislodged the thermostat. When i got it off and was ready to put in a new thermostat, i discovered that he water outlet cracked clear through. replaced that, and now it doesn't leak or over heat. long summer and tired of the smell of coolant!! I figured that if the truck is running too cold with the 160, i can change it out pretty easily now, i have done it a lot this summer. any how, i am keeping a very close eye on it.
Thank you for your help.

I've read that it's better to get the less expensive JBA's (nickel plated or whatever) and have them sent to Jethot for their Cerami-chrome (I think thats the name of it). Little bit extra $$ overall, but some Mustang magazine did some tests w/ a "pyrometer gun" (I'm not too good w/ names of stuff) and the Jethot held (a fair amount-don't remember #'s at all) more heat inside. I might have it backwards, if so someone correct me. Either is definately better than bare metal though.

Hope your exhaust goes better than you cooling system. Good luck.

Thanks! I'll look into it. I read a lot about Mustangs. They are my other love.
