thanks- thats kinda what i was thinking. guess ill keep looking for the dana 60. if yall happen to come across one let me know. im sure ill have to regear it to match the 3.55 rearend in this truck. im sure the 60s will all be 4.10. thanks alot for your input and help!!!
thought about that. the 3.55's pull my 24' gooseneck stocktrailer loaded at 75 mph in overdrive and get about 13 mpg doing it. besides that i can get around 20 unloaded. i would hate to give that up. maybe i could see about adding an overdrive unit that would allow me to run about the same rpms with the 4.10s. that would be really great and give me another gear with lots more towing power. maybe thats something ill look into. what do you think???
