6.0 pullin machine

Back from Colorado vacation. My '06 F250 6.0 performed flawlessly. Pulled a 36' 13k 5th wheel from Red Oak Tx. to Wichita Falls - Amarillo-Durango-Leadville-Raton N.M.-Wichita Falls back to Red Oak and places in between. What a beast !!! Used the 65 hp SCT tune. Took Wolf Creek Pass 45 mph. My buddy has a 7.3 F250 pullin the same size camper and he had to stop 5 times to let his tranny cool. The 6.0 must have a massive trans.oil cooler. NO PROBLEMS. Any-hoo........ I LOVE MY 6.0 !!!

Egr / cooler delete. Head studs. Blue spring mod. 4" pipe back to muffler, no cat. STC mods, sct tuner. EGT gauge installed.

It's already happening here (Northern Colorado) especially the Excursions. The 7.3 Excursion until this last Spring was like the Holy Grail and nobody wanted the 6.0 version, but these last few months the 7.3 asking prices have plummeted and the 6.0 asking price is now well above the 7.3.

Which now sucks, I would like to have a 6.0 Excursion, I waited too long
