C9VE-A vs -B

Is there any significant difference between the C9VE-A and -B heads?

Will either of them tolerate unleaded fuel without additive?

Several searches and lots of reading haven't shed much light.

Thanks in advance!

These are 1969 heads and there is basically no differeneces and unless hard valve seats have been put in they will not tolerate unleaded gas.

Thank you, sir, for the quick response. I'm trying to decide which heads to use to replace the stock E6TE's and increase compression a bit. One of them is cracked, so it's a good time to upgrade. It's a 1986 engine, all stock. I'm not excited about having to use the additive, but it's beginning to look like I'll have to use the older heads to get the compression bump. BTW, I'm also replacing the cam and associated drive train at the same time.

Any other thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.
