Considering installing a Borla 1 in 2 out (rear) exhaust. Has anyone installed one of these? Do I need to relocate the spare tire? No info on this topic on Borla's site
Thanks
Post some pics if you don't mind. I'm considering all of my options too. Also, how does the Bassani sound, loud, rumble? Any comparisons to some of the other systems out there?
Just had the Borla installed and is perfect! SI/DO 3" Pipe from cat to Muffler and exiting with dual 2-1/2" ending with 18" chromed tips. Sound is Awesome! when sitting side by side with my friends F150 w/ Flowmaster 40 you can definately hear the difference. his is louder at idle (I didn't want that) but when you open them up, WOW! it seems as if the Borla system mimics the sound of a cam installed. I don't know it's a little hard to describe but I think compared to the flowmaster I'm glad I chose the Borla....It is what I wanted in sound and performance. Pictures will be posted as soon as most of the goodies are installed.
Hey Hawaiian....you wasted no time getting the truck in your mitts and adding mods!!! I know you must've been jumpin like a "school kid holdin it in as the teacher signs the hall pass" just waiting for your ride to come ashore!! Glad to hear it's there and you're makin it YOUR baby!
I want the Borla too...I was convinced since hearing Gordo's sound clip...but I'm gonna have to wait til another piggy bank gets filled up! Aloha!!
STL1, is it possible for the group to get a sound clip? I ran a Bassani kit on my bronco, and I thought it sounded sweet. Id love to hear one on your truck. You can check out the link in my sig, to hear what the bassani sounded like on the bronco, and maybe compare if you cant get a clip (the gibson clips came out better than the bassani ones unfortunately). Thanks!

You're darn Tootin! Lets say it's MY turn to be the little kid in the candy store! and Yesh, I'm very happy she's here....waited long enough and she's everything I imagined and then some. I just can't believe I'm driving in an eye magnet. and let me tell ya the kinds of looks I'd be gettin' too.
I had someone at the store today park his F150 XLT next to mine and as I was walkin to it (it was almost as if he waited for me to return) he walked up and asked where I got my mods from and that it was exactly what he wanted to do to his. I asked him if he knew about this site, gave him the address, told him to join and I was sure he'd get lots of help here.
Way to go, Hawaii, you move fast. I'm done a few of my mods (tint, mats, Line-X, undercoat, soundproofing) but I'm still completely confused on what type of hp mods to do (intake/tuner, supercharger, or turbocharger). Also don't know which way to go lift, lower, or leave alone. I keep flip floping between the choice but will continue to read this forum until I pick the perfect routes.
I know the exact mods I want to do to mine, just dont have the money right now.
Intake, exhaust, underdrive pulleys. 33"tires and Daystar for the front.Lookin at a lot of money.
So far, I have window tint, floormats, rhino lining(first and most important mod) and Superchips tuner.
