Do they still come with a new wye pipe? How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking? With gas prices going up, it's starting to look like any mod you can do to increase fuel mpg's is going to pay for itself in no time, at least this is the story I'll tell my wife when I decide to get a set.

Yes, the borla headers come with a Y pipe. I got the kit from Summit for about $715 if I remember correctly. The header kit has been on B/O for a month so I don't remember exactly what the cost was. The catback was a snap to install so I look forward to the same level of fitment and quality with the headers. I hope they produce satisfactory perf. results. I would imagine that coupled with the new Diablo programmer comming out that it would be a fun package...

I installed my Borla Headers about 2 months ago, they came with the Y pipe and locking bolts( any one who has had fun keeping the header bolts tight will appreciate this). Unless you have a great deal of Patients and at least 16 hours of time have a speed shop do the work. There isn't a lot of room, and you have to take the wheel wells out to get in the bolts. Also the frame gets in the way. But other than that I love them. I got an immediate increase in HP and Fuel milage. I drove 300 miles pulling a 9000 pound Travel Trailer, the engine ran better than it ever has and pulled up a mountain range without a hiccup. and I did it with 36 gallons. Before it woud take 50 Gal. The 700.00 was worth it. I also installed a throttle spacer from poweraid, it also helped. I did a check this weekend on fuel milage with out pulling anything and I got 18MPG. Have fun.

18 MPG -- hard to believe -- my city is 11.5 - I have Borla headers, a Cobra throttle body and Superchips, they helped like maybe .5 on the gas mileage .
I get about 14 empty on hiway.

I got 18 mpg once, I reset the trip computer and was stuck behind a semi for 50 miles doing 55-60 mph.

I doubt I could get 18 rolling down a hill with a tailwind and the engine off in neutral. 14.5 is the best I've gotten. Borla headers, MAFS, throttle body, flowmaster, synthetic oil, diablo chip. Great power, but...............
