Just ran your VIN. If you would like, you may go back and edit it out of your post for privacy reasons.
You even had to wait on your dealer because they didn't have the injector o-rings in stock
I'm with JD here, you might want to find another dealer. It doesn't even show that they replaced the injector sleeves; these are supposed to be replaced with the rings and copper gaskets. Either they were too stupid to log it into OASIS, or they didn't change them...
on the face of kn4n's posts, one would think he had a bad vehicle, but suspect the dealer service may be the culprit. How many of the problems reported here are the result of a bad diagnosis or faulty workmanship at the dealer service level?
Looks like I am going to have to go through that DSB thing. Is there anyone out there that might be able to help me out a little ? I have a bad feeling this is going to be painfull ?
Start with your dealer and get the paper work...document document doument

I am going thru the DSB process now. Look in your manual, it has instructions. Don't bother calling the Customer Relationship Center, they will send you a form letter saying sorry we could not help you....boy what a wast of money ford are paying these people. The DSB will send you a form to fill out, it's plain and simple, Send a letter with it, with full details. When thay receive it, they will let you know when they meet (in my case, 24 Sep) also, set up a conference call with the board on meet date. Sent my letter and form 26th Aug. I expect to here their deal about the first week in Oct. At any rate, I will have them on lemon law. 3 times for same thing within 18,000 miles or 18 months....I am sure they do not want it to go down as lemon. As to coments on dealer, We have a ford dealership with one of the most sorry service departments in Tennessee!! Also filling with BBB on them.

Reason: add.
To give everyone an up date on my truck. This is the third week in the shop for the same problem. First week they said it was the coolant bottle leaking so they replaced that. Second week they were waiting on a rep from ford to get back with them. Third week they are replacing the head gaskets. Truck was suppose to be out westerday but guess what they are replacing the heads also imagine that. So they are telling me tomorrow it will be ready. We will see .Get this my rental car fee is 15.00 a day because FORD is paying the other 18.00. I just got a survey from the dealer in the mail as I am typing this. I don`t think it is going to be nice.
saw you ran tims VIN, for what purpose? can you run mine and if so, what will it tell? more specifically, if you could read the post i just left today and see if you could advise on that?
