Source for '46 front axle bumper?
I am now seeking some new front axle bumpers - the square shaped ones that fit on the top of the '42 - '47 front axle spring pads. Does anybody make them? Also, has anybody cut these down for more frame clearance? If so, do you know how much you can cut off before you hit the "Crunchy metal center"? I am lowering the truck and installing a 460. I need more frame clearance.
