Moving front bumper

Anybody move the front bumper closer to the body on a 59-60?
How much of the frame did you have to cut?

I have not-but have seen it on other trucks

I would imagine that you would cut off 2" off frame if you want to move 2" closer to body...and so on

Well, do not remember exactly how much it was, plz see the pics .....
It´s very close to the body, maybe 3" ?

Copy the alignment of bolt holes before you cut ! I also shifted the alignment upwards to put the bumper approx. 1/2 inch higher .. looks better for me.

I'm tempted to do this, too, but I'd lose my step for those times I really need to get under the hood. I fully envision myself slipping off, scraping my shin and bleeding out on the concrete. It does look great, though.
