This topic has been discussed before. You might want to use the search function, and see what you get for replies. As far as I know, there is no kit for the 8.8. There is a kit for the smaller axle though (7.5" maybe?).

The only kit i've ever seen for the 8.8 is this one

http://www.ecihotrodbrakes.com/rear_...nversions.html

i've also never heard of anyone who has used it, but for 500 bucks i've been thinking about being a first

A couple of ideas, try doing a google search on disc brake kits. Also, Stacey of Truckstv occasionally uses Currie Enterprises Explorer disc brake kits. They might sell one or beable to make a kit.

wstsidridr,

Might want to check this link out. It's something I've been toying with the idea of doing to my 93. http://tsmmfg.com/2530M.htm

I know Lincoln Town cars of the same era had 8.8's with disc, why not check the boneyards. Got the advantage of being all Ford bolt on parts.

i think the problem with the town car 8.8 is the different bolt patern being 4.5 x 5 .
