Question 04 wind vibration

I have an 04 screw. Lowering one rear window at about 55 causes a wind vibration so bad it will shak your eyes.I drove another one. same problem. Already tried rebalancing the wheels and vent shades. No luck. Anyone else have this problem? MY 1999 and 01 did not do this.

It is all about the aerodynamics, plus the air pressure inside and outside the truck...my '04 Supercrew does the same thing...if you have a sliding rear window then open it as well and that should take care of it.

Welcome to FTE dive_Addict. That is an inheret pressure difference. Like BLariat suggested, you could open the rear window. I have also found that if you crack a window on the opposite side of the truck, it will equalize. The pressure of the air outside your truck flying past is greater than that in your truck, so the air outside is trying to force itself in. The problem? It has no where to go, because you dont have any other windows open. You are getting a "buffer" effect. If you crack any other window, it should help eleviate these pressure differences. The 99 and 01 were different exterior shapes, and thus caused the outside air to move differently over your vehicle. That would make it apples to oranges.

My 02 f150 did this also.

Just lower a back window bout an inch or two and that will solve the problem.
