trans yoke

I have a 1977 F350 460cid with a T19 4speed. I have had four yokes brake.I need to find a supplier for C8TZ-7B198-A or after market.and answer to problem. Thanks

77 F350 trans yoke breaks

To Beartracks, Thanks for your reply. The yoke breaks where the u-bolt goes through the yoke on opposing corners, not the u-bolts.

Wellcome to the club.

I don't know about the part source but, Something is not happy. The drive shaft might be too short (too much yoke shaft exposed and wobbling), you might have the wrong size "U" joints or not have them seated properly.

Those yolks are very weak is it the one the which takes a combination u joint 1130 and 1150 series i believe its 27 spline you can use a ford 9 inch rear yolk its 27 splines and has the 1150 series u joint all the way around which a little better other than that there is no option other than changing the trans out put shaft to a 10 spline or getting a custom 1350 series 27 spline yolk made .
