Turbo Leak Repaired / Front Alignment

I had the turbo pedestal replaced (leaking oil) by the dealer since the engine is still under warranty. I don't know if I was imagining, but I notice improved response from the engine and also noticed that the turbo whine is now more noticeable. Will that type of repair action affect the engine performance? Just wondering.

Also how often does the Ex need to have a front end alignment? Does the four wheel drive need to have four wheel alignment?

Don't know how that would affect anything. Not to sound negative, but I would sure verify they reattached the air filter hose and whatever else the had to pull.

can't help you much on the turbo question other than my thought were the same as the last post. so check all the intake connections. as for the alignment an X only needs a two wheel alignment. DON'T pay for a four wheel as its impossible to do on an X. how often is tough to answer. if you only drive on road every 30,000 to 50,000. if you off road for in rough roads maybe sooner. the key is the check your tires for abnormal wear or uneven wear. or any time you have front end parts replaced like ball joints or tie rod ends.
