Exhaust Clips
Hey everyone, I'm here yet again with another exhaust question 
. It has literally been over 6 months since I've begun looking into an after-market exhaust system. Only problem is that there are so many choices and I've been spending a bunch of money on other trinkets but now have the money to get one 
. So here is the final request from you guys, could you please post any sound clips you have of your ranger if you have a new exhaust system 
. Whether it be gibson, magnaflow, flowmaster or even a glasspack I'd really love to hear it.
I'm looking for a system that just sounds a little deeper. Nothing that will make it sound extremely loud and absolutely nothing like a rice rocket
. Just have it be noticable. I'm looking into a dual exit also, but if I hear a nice single I'll get that. Thanks a bunch!

I Might Just Be A Hillbilly, (well actually i am) But in my opinion you can't go wrong with a flowmaster 40 series. on my truck, i killed the cats and put on true dual 40 series (look in my gallery and there is a picture of the exhaust. on my dads 97 mercury sable with the 3.0 v6 duratec (it is the 24 valve) i put flowmaster 50 series on it and it sounds good
In conclusion
If you want loud/agressive... 40 series
if you want a mellow/slightly agressive tone... 50 series
If you want to be cool and don't have a smog test... Take the cats off!!
If you have emission testing... Leave the cats on
I heard a 4.0 explorer that I put 50 series on with dual exit and it sounded cool.
still the best i've heard is a 300-6 with two three cylinder headers on it and flowmaster true duals with no cats. it's different but yet its cool.
My truck is still sounds the coolest to me (perhaps because it has a 302 and because it's mine)
By the way, when i said "if you want to be cool and take your cats off" don't take it personal if you have emission testing because it is NOT COOL again NOT COOL to take your cats off if you have an exhaust sniffer test
