Stacks

I was wondering if i put a 4" Chrome stack on my truck
how would it sound? Like a tractor? Or like a cummins?
I put a stack on a lawnmower i restored (i'm 16 had to have things to do while school was out) It is a 1995 Craftsman Garden Tractor and it sounds bad like a hogg
would my truck sound this good?

The trucks with stacks that I've heard sound more like a diesel. They were probably V8's though, I'm not sure how the 300 would sound.

I've never heard or seen a 300 with stacks. I've always been curious why people wanted to do this in the first place? Anybody know? I've always been afraid that i'll forget that i have the stacks, and grab it trying to do something. Or just not think and touch it.

Although i do have to admit, it might look pretty cool if done right.

I have a 2.5 inch stack, no cat, and Cherry Bomb. Sounds pretty much like a tractor. Kids at school call in the Farmall H on steroids. I grabbed it once while unloading scrap metal out of the box when I lost my footing, I never did it since. I have pictures in my gallery if you'd like to see.

I was thinking along the lines of a 4-5" chrome stack like on the Big Cummins hot rod trucks. strait pipe it sounds pretty good when i'm lugging it and think it would sound awsome with a stack.
Where can i get a big 4" stack?

You'll probably have take the 2.5" exhaust, use flex pipe or a bend to aim it up, expand the 2.5" pipe to a 4" pipe and run it up in the air.

lol, I wish I had pictures of the burns. I couldn't put my hand anywhere near anything for a week. I thought about a nice chrome heat shield after all that.
