I am a new member 29 and I am unable to email at this time i need to post a few more times before I can email you ok but thinks for the bolts I bought some more today at the parts store and of course they are wrong again.
If I have a choice, I try to replace exhaust manifold studs with bolts, including the ones for the exhaust pipe. I either knock them out or drill them out on the exhaust system side.
Kind of a hassle getting them tightened on some vehicles with limited room (BII) though if they get rusted on even with using anti-seize, getting the exhaust off the manifold is as easy as running a cut off wheel against the exposed part of the bolt between the exhuast manifold and exhaust system. If you do not have the room, you can always use a dremel (did that on a BII).
