During the the last muddbogg, while going through the pit it knock the steering wheel out of my hands. Do I need to add another steering stabilizer? I really need to be able to handle this truck while going through the pit, because I have a big money run coming up the 28 of this month. All the help would be appreciated, thanks all.
really there isan't much you can do other than the hydro assist/full hydro unless i am wrong AGAIN today and there is another way of sneaking around it. but that's all i know of!
not really! if you let it go and turn where it wants then you are keeping the pressure off! but if you try to hold it and have to stand on it then yes you will break it!

To answer pro's ?, yes I have power steering. I have check all steering linkage everthing seems to be tight. Thanks Fishmann. for the help, don't think I will have time to put that system on this week, guess will have to put it to the floor and hope for the best!!!!
if all yo have on htere currently is the factory single stabilizer then yes a second stabilizer will help but as others posted it will not entirely stop it. biggest thing is remember to keep your thumbs out of the center of the wheel or you will break them too.
Either way mine's broke. Probably the pitman seal leakingbadly so it cant hold any pressure, but Im not sure. Random: any one know where to get new, extended draglinks(thing between pitman arm and knuckle/tie rod?) for a D60?
The reason that I asked is that the shockloads seem worse with manual steering over power. I think the ps absorbs some of that force. Crossover would give you better leverage which in turn would also help, with hydro being the ultimage solution as mentioned albeit not the most practical. An extra stabalizer or simply a better one would be the easiest ticket. A rancho 9x would be nice because you could dial it down for on-road ease and crank it up to absorb the off road hits. Rawpower, I think a ton of folks offer them, you might want to search the vendors at Pirate. Personally, I'd just do what I did and just make your own. Cheap and easy. DOM with weld in inserts. Piece of cake.
