SAS/4x4 Conversion on '01 250?

SAS/4x4 Conversion on '01 250?

Using a remanned NP 205 (assuming they are E4OD compatible), a rebuilt D60, and a swap kit, how much do you think this would cost? Might as well put a steering stabilizer in there too, so add 100 to whatever the estimate is.

We have a problem with getting my little brother a truck. Problems being: Hes gonna need a truck soon. My dad doesnt want to have 3 trucks in the family. My bro wants (NEEDS) 4x4. My dads truck is 2x4. So he wants to know what the cost of converting it would be. Thanks yall.

Got a spare kidney? Cause that is about how much it'll cost.

seriously, it be cheaper & much easier to trade in your dad's 2wd on a 4. I am almost 100% sure that a bolton conversion for a SD from another SD isn't possible, meaning mucho custom fab..

Expect $800 for a remanned NP 205 - Or go to a bone yard and get one for 50-200 dollars, and go thru it yourself.

Expect $800 - $3000 for a Dana 60 front axle depending on what you get.

Kit - Don't know about this, but it would be in the 1000-3000 grand mark i'm sure

Tranny work - Not cheap, new tailhousing for transfer case.

Divorced transfer case with stock tranny = cheaper but fab work and driveshaft work so may cost just as much.
