Hypertech Chip ..Dip Switches

well with my new find of a Hypertech Chip in my service port on my computer,
i was wonderinf what the dip switches on the board do? All of the switches
are off but one. And with no instructions. I'm wondering what they do?
This chips has a build date of 98 so i'm assuming my truck had it in her since then and shes a 97. Scary thing is it never had any gauges etc.
So i'll assume its set at a low level of performance?

I have no idea what the dip switches do....and frankly I think it would take a pair of big brass ones to find out. 
The good news is that 50 HP is about the strongest the Hypertech stuff got back then, so you don't have to panic about the lack of gauges.

No problem.....so are you going to flip the switches? I still think it may not be the best idea.....but it's gotta be like a big red button with "do not touch" on it.

Nahh my Big set of you know whats are staying where they are..
Thats all i need is to throw some little switch and then here a nasty noise
from outside..And nasty noises are always followed by $$$$$
