Fuel Tank Selector Switch
I have a 1984 Ford F-150 I-6 300CI, with dual tanks. The fuel tank selector switch is located next to the AC controls on the right side. Does anyone know how to change this switch? The ground in it is bad and the front tank reads on and off. The rear tank appears to read ok. I had it diagnosed once and I was told that the swotch was going out. I want to do it myself if I can.

The switch on the dash doesn't control the guage reading, it only controls the fuel switch on the frame rail and the one on the frame rail controls which tank is being read. At least, that's how i read the diagrams, anyone here will correct me if I'm wrong. It is possible for the switch in the dash to fail, but the fuel switch likely would be affected as well.
