Well with the Innovative tuned SCT Excal2 it will remove the speed limiter you can get custom tunes for up to 140 hp and it goes really good with the Bullydog Outlook monitor #41300 for all your gauges and defueling. I use one and the EGT's stay lower than any other we have tried. Plus we are having a good sale on them now hehe. All your top name tuners are good products, we sell most of them. And we get good reviews on all of them. I chose SCT because they are consentrated on Ford only, and you dont see many compaints on them on any of these forums. The Dieselstop.com did a shootout on the big brand names and I was really impressed with SCT's outcome.

Is this Greek?!?!

Ok...heres the situation. I've grown up in Fords. But...I've only been in F350 duallys that we used to pull huge horse trailers and hay wagons. I now bought one that is rarely going to be used for that. It MIGHT pull the occasional goose-neck...but doubtful. It will probably only pull a boat from time-to-time and a car hauler. For the most part the load is going to be mainly passengers, beer, and camping stuff in the back. I work on a lot of my own stuff but some of the terms I've hearing(not just on here) are all greek to me. I understand some of it...but don't know exactly what it all will do to my truck. I want to be able to: (1)have that added power incase some wise-*** pulls up next to me and doesn't think I'll be able to get out of my own way; (2)not hurt my fuel mileage...and maybe infact help it a bit; (3)make sure what I do doesn't hurt my truck from lasting into the next millenium. So...I've looked up SCT, EDGE, BANKS...some are chips and some are ????. Which one would work best with what I want out of my truck? I want power, good sound, long lasting, decent fuel mileage. And...after putting one of these on...what else would/should I get done? Thank you much guys...this forum is a huge help!!!

Oh, MBRP is a manufacturer of exhaust. They have both aluminized and stainless.

Innovative is a custom tuner (Eric) that makes the greatest tunes on Earth (arguably...some folks may think there is another tuner alive...but we dont recognize them...lol)...Yes, we can get you a great deal on Innovative Tunes! Check our add in the top of the main forum, about 5th catagory down

And as for the intake, I have so many intakes that fit your application, its a matter of what you want to spend, and what your looking for. Now, you do need guages. If you want simple and easy, you can slide away from the Innovative and into an Edge platinum with the attitude monitor. Its a nice 4 pane digital display. To many to show you....way to many!

Call me if you want to talk.
