I figured that they were bolt holes, but I can't figure out what it bolts to. Maybe someone else has seen one?
BTW - 8RT is a flathead V8 from a truck.

Can you tell I'm bored this afternoon? Here is yoru part. It's called a "Ford Pickup Truck Flywheel Housing Cover Seal - Metal - V8". Apparently it bolts onto the the bell housing. Here's a site that actually sells it.

I guess the reason I couldn't figure it out is because I didn't have a bellhousing with that engine. I was thinking it was some type of seal between the oil pan and crankshaft.
