Need to buy the removal tools at walmart, etc. They are only a couple bucks, well worth it. I have made some with a wire coat hanger or used finish nails, but get the tools.

They insert in the four small holes on each side and allow the "clips" that hold radio in to be disengaged. The radio pulls right out.

Which body style? Is it the one that the radio is mounted below the air conditioner (87-91) or the one that the radio is mounted above the air conditioner controls (92-96)? The 92 model was a change year with new interior and front facia.

If it was the 87-91, then the radio and air controls will have a bezel around them. A quick tug straight out will cause it to come off. Then, the radio is mounted with two brackets on each side with two torx/hex combo screws holding them in. Remove the four screws and it pulls out.

If its the 92-96 models, it should have the four holes in it if it came from the factory.
