mobil 1 0-20...says on the bottle...complies with ford warranties.
I only pay 32 bucks for 7 quarts of synthetic along with a full service oil change and a VIP carwash so...I cant complain. If I go buy conventional oil and a filter and do it myself im at 20 bucks and I dont get a free car wash OR synthetic oil!
I will change the trans to synthetic when it comes time to service it.
I run swepco in the rear end.
Royal purple kicks serious ***...we run it in our race vehicles and buy it by the 5 gallon container. I was not aware they had the proper oil viscosity for warranty purposes.

Since my dealer sends me a $19.99 5-qt. oil change coupon every 90 days, I let them change the oil at 3,000 miles. The dealer sells the extra two quarts of synth blend for $1.50 each and tops up everything else.
Cheep, Cheep.
At that price there is no way I'm going to do it myself or go anywhere else!
Needless to say, I think Thornhill Ford in Waxahachie, TX is really good. The truck is the third vehicle we've bought and serviced there.

I just serviced my 04 FX4 at 5000 miles and used a Napa Gold Oil Filter and BG HI-LO 0W30 Synthetic. It is a 15000 mile oil with a filter change at 7500. I have ran BG oil in all of our work equipment and am convinced it is the best - however, the 0W30 ran me 6.95/quart from our rep (9.95 retail)
