I have a screw 4x4 5.4L w/3.73 and I'm getting 17 to 18 MPG (mostly highway driving). When towing the boat I get between 11 and 12 MPG.

I have about 1600 on my 04 lariat screw. I am only getting about 15.5 right now but have a true flow cold air intake waiting for me at home today to install. Hoping to get better mileage after the install. Will let you know. Most of my miles have been on my 20 mile each way trek to work on insterstate 10.

I added a LUND Genesis Hinged cover but have seen no difference with that. There are some other threads about tailgates and bedcovers though.

5.4l FX4 with 3.73 gears with nearly 10k miles. I get 325 - 405 miles to the tank. Tailgate up. I didn't see much difference between going easy on the gas and driving it the way I want so I drive it the way I want

Screw Lariat with 5.4L - 3.73ls 1000 miles and according to the dash computer I get 16.8 all around. I must admit that I have been taking it easy for the first 1500 miles. I am pleased with the mileage thus far and I'm planning to get a hardshell cover soon.

5.4L 4x4 Super Crew with 3.73LS. 820 miles. 17-18 mpg crusing on highway. 12 mpg stop and go on the highway and towing a 1000 lb. trailer. I confess to trying to "retrain" my computer out of its bad throttle lag by punching the gas occasionally.

I get 13 mpg, a mix between city and highway.. On my two trips pulling my 2 jetskis and the truck fully loaded with cruise at 78 I got 14 mpg, I guess that means I drive bad around town.
