H/X Mod experiences?

I'm all set and ready to do the H/X mod, and what do I find, but something else already in the ports?!

It's a 97 CC 250. Has anyone else come up with this problem? It appears that the hose coming from the pump is so long that it goes right over a port and then hooks up to the port that the crossover hose is supposed to go to. What gives?

Is the HP oil port closest to the turbo inlet already taken on anyone else's 97 PSD?

Thanks,

Matthew

Yepper, move the HPOP line foward one, you'll need to loop it, and then your HX line goes in and straight across to the other side, you should have gotten all the fittings you need just be careful not to over tighten them. Oh yeah put the plugs you remove in the tool box or glove compartment just in case.

So these lines are "loopable" without negative effects on their lifespan? Is it better to buy a shorter line? or even possible?

At least I don't have to order a different crossover kit, that's nice.

Matthew who did you get your kit from? It should have come with instructions on how to install including moving the existing line. I loosened mine up at the hpop and was able to loop it for a neater looking install then when I ran the crossover line I made sure it wasn't in contact with anything on the motor to keep from chaffing the crossover line.
