gas guzzler
I'm gettin about 14 m.p.g. with my 1986 bronco2 4x4...I've got a manifold leak and it occasionally surges(vacuum leak??) anyone know if the manifold exhaust leak has anything to do with it??

An exhaust leak upstream or near the O2 sensor will allow fresh air from outside into the exhaust, the oxygen in the freash air will cause the O2 to read lean and the ECU will make the mixture richer.
