No, but I do have a bigger pile of parts than the beggining of the year.

Bought a lsd for cheap on ebay, a friend gave me a 31 spline carrier with axles. Found a different power steering pump in the junk yard, got a new gas tank and through bed gas cap delivered.

I've been way way too busy workin on my little german craps, er I mean cars. Those germans had rusting perfected back in the 70's. I think they got the time for a floorboard to rust through down to 6 months or so.

Thumbs up Great Thread

Good ? Huntsman!

John Niolin, Nice Garage! Truck doesn't look too shabby either Is that computer screen in the back hooked up to a CPU? Is thta where you do yoru key tappin' ? or is that for lookin' up parts?

I've had a good year but I've lost my post 3 times in attempts to do the "pictures woth 1000" thing this morning.

I've been wrenchin pretty steady and got the "finally red" '53 M100, Voalre Clip, 5.0L/AOD/8.8, running unfinished down the QEW to the NY Interstate and Syracuse last month. BIG SMILE!!! on me face let me tell ya...actually I probably don't need ta tell any of yous!

I still gots lots to do and I'm currently trying to chase down an annoying engine stalling condition...which is why I'm giving up on palcing a picture as I'm on lthe way to the garage right now!

PS IF any of you "techknow" dudes can tell me how to insert a pic in the post, I'd appreciate it

PPS Fergie, can you raide the engine and avoid the frame headers conflict? Mine's sitting pretty low and I was able to get away with a few passes with file for the Volare steering box on the drivers side.

go into your gallery, and click on the pic you want to use. Then when it loads, right click on the photo and choose properties, highlight(click on the text and hold the left mouse button while moving over the text) the location of the photo(should start with http://) and once its highlighted, right click on the highlighted text and click "copy". Then go and reply to a post. Once you in the tan box area where you type your text reply, click on the yellow postcard with mountains on it(right above the text box)[ IMG] should appear, then right click right after than and choose "paste" then click the postcard again. It's way easier then how I explained it. -4speed

you cannot just 'upload' a picture into this forum engine. You CAN post it on some other hosting site and then the little mountain top icon above this little edit box will let you insert the URL of that image into this message.

There are a bunch of free upload sites, but I don't know any personally as I have my own server for stuff like that

Name of the game is picking the battles and you all look like you're doing well. In 98 I obtained a boat for a mear financial consideration and it has been a yearly project I have intended to complete and go out enjoy with the family. My middle son bought a new boat this summer. Yep, that meant there had to be an additional effort put forward to get mine done. The engine and stern drive unit went in last weekend. I have to construct a new interior for it and then we can head for the water. I think I know someone that can handle the interior it is just getting the time to work it in. The old panel truck will be next on the agenda after the boat. Good luck with all your projects.
