WD-40 really isn't a penatrating oil. It just happens to work sometimes. It is really a Water Dispersant on the 40th try.. Hence WD-40. It does displace water. Not even that good of a lubricant.

Yea, I switched to the PB Blaster. I guess if I can try that Kroil stuff too. Need a can of something before I get started on my project of the weekend. My weekend starts 0800 Tuesday morning.

Never heard of PB Blaster? I'll check it out. Here's a trick. A few of my mechanic friends use plain old tranny fluid. Squirt it on stubborn whatever and let is soak. It has penetrating properties and loosens anything.
