here's my sutuation, I have a 2004 sd 4x4 crew cab 6.0 lariat. At idle it sounds like it's missing, runs rough, and puffs out blue smoke. The truck has 18500 miles on it and has been doing this since about 5000 miles. It doesn't do it all the time and it doesn't matter if it's hot or cold. On a recent 2200 mile trip it also started surging at about 30mph,but hasn't done it since. The build date on moter says 2004, the date on door is 11/03, and the sticker on the computer next to the battery is labled tbsv. From what I have read on this site It doesn't sound like I nead a flash. Any ideas? thanks for any input.
