Desktop Dyno again
Got another dd question here. Could you run desktop dyno for this setup:
66 352
Crane 901
Edel peformer intake
holley 600cfm vacum secondary
hedman headers

Need to know compression, and head casting number. It is between the spark plugs on the heads.

the head casting number is
C6AE-R
I dont know what the comperssion is on this engine. Is there anyway to tell? It is currently toren down to the block on the engine stand.

i broke down and got dynosim with pro tools. Works great! they say within 5% accuracy. if you can the right head flow and select the correct numbers i find it pretty close. now if i can learn how to get the graph on the forums i will be set.

Well 66, I ran it on the DD2, with your Specs, Cam timming at .004"
With 9.5 to 1 CR..
383lbs of torque @ 3500rpm
297HP @4500rpm

I don't have any flow data for the C6 heads. Does anybody else? The C8 should be close though.

Sean, I didnt use any flow data, I just used Valve size,and carb flow? and cam at .004" specs?
