Inside the MLSP
I have read many threads regarding "hard shifting" with the E4OD and if the MLSP sensor is replaced the problem is resolved. I am curious if anyone has monitored the MLSP connector wires with a voltmeter to determine what the sensor sends the CPU. Does the sensor place a ground for each wire that corresponds to a selected gear?
I purchased a 95 F350 4x4 - 7.5L that is experiencing this problem. I would like to "fool" the cpu with the voltage, ground, etc. to determine which sensor, if any, is at fault.
