On a stock motor the KB will work fine, and will probably meet your needs for towing. The 2.2L KB would be a better option, but I don't think they offer a kit for your make/model unless you're running a GT-40 upper and lower intake setup like the GEN 1 Lightnings....then you could (probably) use that kit instead. In the end, your fuel system and tune will determine the performance and longevity of your combo....these things are very important.
