First Laptop Question

Okay, now that I've got this thing...I've already got my first problem. Whenever I'm poking around FTE, haven't been other places enough, the pages don't refresh. For instance, the forum index page shows no updates since I turned this thing on around 115. My previous thread, I have to refresh the page to get things to show up. I've already tried adjusting the temp page settings to no avail. Ugh!

If your using Internet Explorer go to Tools --> Internet Options under the General Tab in the Temporary Internet files section click Settings then under Check for newer versions of stored pages: check Automatically.

Appreciate it but I already tried that. I had to refresh the index page for this forum just to get here. Guess if all else fails I'll do a system restore and see if that fixes it.

Tried that too.

Try a few other things and then its time for a fresh install.

Well, so far she's running like a dream. Musta been a cpu-fart either from sitting on the shelf or when it was initially installed. Keepin fingers crossed.
