engine Identification
Hello everyone..I need help with a question on a 351w I purchased recently..I want to buy a new dist for it but cant figure out the date of the engine which is mandatory before I order the dist to insure I get the right one..the # on the block over the starter is EOAE-6058-AA.. I contacted Summit about the dist and they have to know the engine yr..any help would be greatly appreciated as I want to get this thing up and running asap..Thanks, Darrell

Well, at least it an 80 +
You need to find the other set of casting marks to find our exactly what date it was cast.
Look for something like this: * 1E 04 *
It should be around the same place as the other cast numbers.
This is the date of cast code.
