VIN Help

First time post -

Bought my first truck! 1968 F100 - Hoping you guys can give me some help decoding the VIN I looked online but came up pretty empty.

VIN # F10ALC94295

Welcome aboard. What you have breaks down this way:

F10 - F100
A - 240 6 cyl
L - Michigan Truck assembly plant
C94295 - consecutive unit number (late February '68)

Thanks for the quick reply! Sounds good. Seems the body kept up well, but the previous owner changed out the drive train for a V8 and a MTX transmission. has a Hurst shifter on the floor and a little bit of chrome under the hood. Obvious that it was three on the tree in a previous life. I'm thinking it's a 302? It looks so dwarfed in the massive engine bay.
