My 04 Exp 5.4 has a trans code of "W" on the sticker. According to the dealer this designates a new trans called the 4R75W. I haven't been able to find out any info good or bad on this particular unit. Is anyone familiar with this trans and if so would a Factory Tech Valve Body work for this model as well?

There's not much info out on the 4R75W. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a 4R70W with slightly stronger internal parts. Your best bet is to contact Factory Tech and see if he knows whether the kit will work or not.
