Vapor lock problem

95 460 f-250 EFI Only sputters and dies when its really hot out 90-95. I put cool fuel in the tanks and make sure they are full and it runs fine. Only sputters and dies after coming to a stop then trying to get going again it dies when tank is reaching 1/4- 1/2. Also, its only after about 3 hrs of driving in the hot weather when it starts having problems. Dosent matter which tank i have it switched to. Fuel filter was replaced 8 months ago with a tune up. Vapor seperator and fuel pressure regulator, Is that the same thing?? Where is that located?? Appriciate any help. \

Could be your emission can. It's function is to filter the raw fuel fumes and put them back into your combustion. When this canister isn't functioning properly it can cause a fuel smell and vapor lock problems.
