Sounds like alot of fun, I would like to try it some time. I have Bungeed off of bridges and cranes and enjoyed the rush alot! Bungeed with a couple of guys who had sky dove alot and they said that the Bungee was a little more unnatural because of how close you were to the ground.
i jumped once. it was a tandem jump, but it still was one of the greatest experiences of my life. i can't recall ever having so many intense feelings over a period of approximately 15 minutes. it's not something i'd do again though...once was enough for me. i spent the extra dough and had another jumper video tape it for me. the freefall was crazy....i couldn't hear myself yelling like a wildman, and after the shute opened it was incredibly quiet....only the wind in the shute and an amazing view. oh yeh, it was also the first time i had been in an airplane. kind of funny....a weird first ride in an airplane....went up in it, but didn't land in it. if you're thinking about doing it go for it. even if you fill your britches up with brown stuff, you won't regret it.
If you never had to bail out, then you were a great pilot
I flew hundreds of jumpers over the years. I wore a chute, only because it was required. A fire on board is about the only thing that would make me jump.
I jumped a few years ago, and it was the most amazing experience!!! I would do it a hundred more times, no chemical could get you as high as I felt that day!
I did a jump around 8 yrs ago. I was scared of heights so I thought there would be no better way to conquer my fear. It was awesome.....one of the best adrenalin highs I've had. Oh yeah, I'm not scared of heights anymore either!!
Jumped when I was 19. First time ever in a plane and I never landed. Remember if the parachute does not open, grab the grass when you land. It's not the landing that hurts, it's the bouncing with the broken body parts.
At least a dozen times, two more jumps and I will be certified tandom, my wife says I am certified already! Nothing better than somersaulting at 13,000 feet!
