I'm a farmer so you sleep when you can. Usually go to bed about midnight then up at 4:30 am to go feed. If its rainning I nap if possible. So remember "Never cuss a farmer while your mouth is full!"
Go to bed with hubby at 9 we finally get to the going to sleep part around 10:30 (wink) then we are up at 5:45 am and then we get to the gettin outta bed part at 6 (wink) and then we get up make coffee and his lunch and then he leaves and I begin my day here at home.
In high school, I was always in bed by 10:30 to get up at 7, but would stay up later on the weekends, midnight or later. Now that I am in college and don't have to get up so early, I usually try to go to bed around 11:30 and get up anywhere between 8:30 - 10 depending on if I am really tired or not. Funny things, is that when you get used to this, it is really hard for me to stay up any later than midnight
In bed by midnight, asleep by midnight-thirty up at 4:00am whether I want to or not, boot camp re-set my inner clock and I haven't been able to undo it in 12 years.
Every hour of sleep you get before midnight is the same as 2 hours after midnight.
Now...If I could only do it
I worked graveyard shift, midnight to 0800, for seven years while going to college (the first time). Going to school during the day meant sleeping in the evening. I can assure you, each hour of sleep before midnight was NOT the same as two hours after midnight! And it was just as bad the last day I worked it as it had been the first.
